This issue of our monthly newsletter is focused on Freedom Principle MO - Missouri First PAC's groundbreaking campaign to elect true conservatives to the Missouri legislature.
The Missouri 82 Alliance.
It takes 82 seats for a majority in the Missouri house, and with your help, we can get there. It has been a long time since
Missouri had that many conservatives in office. Truthfully, we have had Republicans in office. But not conservatives. And that's been the main issue with getting common sense legislation passed.
But it all changes now.
I invite you to view the video below and share it with your friends and family. It explains the need for Missouri 82 Alliance, the plan to elect true conservatives to the Missouri legislature, and how you can help.
We need to share this with as many people as possible within our state.
When conservatives represent us, we can finally address fiscal responsibility, IP reform, protections for life, an end to corporate welfare programs, and a return to common sense and family values.
This is the fight of our day.
If we don't act, Missouri becomes purple and eventually blue. It happened in Colorado and it will happen here if we don't actively work to prevent it. Learn more about the Missouri 82 Alliance in this newsletter and join our fight. There is so much you can do.
United we stand, Byron Keelin

#82: Building a conservative future for Missouri
Missouri may have a Republican supermajority—but it does not have a conservative majority. Too often, common-sense conservative policies are blocked, watered down, or ignored entirely.
That’s where the Missouri 82 Alliance comes in.
Launched by Freedom Principle MO – Missouri First PAC, the Missouri 82 Alliance is a statewide initiative to recruit, train, and elect a new generation of constitutional conservatives to the Missouri House of Representatives. With more than 30 Republican-held seats opening in the 2026 election cycle—and many with incumbents rated “C” or worse by the American Conservative Union—now is the time to reshape Missouri’s political landscape.
Unlike the House Republican Campaign Committee (HRCC), which focuses solely on the general election and the number of Republican wins, the Missouri 82 Alliance is focused on both quality and quantity—and we start where it matters most: the August primaries. By helping strong conservatives win their primaries, we position them for victory in November and we ensure that the HRCC is working for us.

A rigorous process for true conservatives
Every Missouri 82 Alliance candidate goes through a comprehensive vetting process conducted by the Freedom Principle MO Candidate Review Committee. Candidates are evaluated on political philosophy, support for the Missouri Republican Party Platform, campaign readiness, and grassroots engagement. Each must:
Maintain an active campaign website and/or social media presence Establish a door-knocking and voter contact plan Raise at least $7,500–$10,000 in campaign contributions
| |
Qualified candidates sign a pledge to uphold conservative principles and are provided with support ranging from strategic training to campaign promotion and post-election mentoring.

It's not enough to simply follow the news, inform yourself, repost memes and yell at your TV and radio. It feels great, but it won't change anything. While you continue to read, watch and vent your frustrations to likeminded friends, we also invite you to take specific actions to create the kind of change we all want to see in this state:
1. Help us find candidates.
We’re calling on Missouri conservatives to play an active role in candidate recruitment. If you know a principled, passionate individual who may be ready to run, we want to hear from you.
2. Join our alliance.
The Missouri 82 Alliance is a movement powered by everyday Missourians who are tired of being ignored by their own party. By joining, you invest in a future where conservative values aren’t just campaign promises—they’re legislative priorities.
Choose a membership level:
Friend of Freedom Club ($30/month): Includes Freedom Principle MO membership and our monthly Missouri Report. Defenders of Freedom Club ($100/month): Includes the above plus exclusive Missouri 82 Alliance hat and shirt. Founders Club: Includes all benefits plus quarterly events with conservative leaders and an exclusive apparel item.
Every dollar supports identifying and interviewing candidates, educating local committees, training campaign teams, promoting endorsed candidates through media, and holding legislators accountable via legislative scorecards.
3. Spread the word.
You can also make a huge difference by simply spreading the word. Talk to your friends, family, church groups, and neighbors about the importance of electing conservatives in the August primaries. Share our mission and content on social media. Forward our emails. Post a link to our website. Every conversation helps build momentum.
Looking for specific ideas? Host a coffee chat or informal gathering to introduce others to the Missouri 82 Alliance. Volunteer to speak at your local GOP committee meeting or civic organization. Write a letter to the editor. Share our candidate vetting process to encourage strong conservative leaders in your area to step forward.
This is a grassroots movement—and you are the grassroots. The more people who know about the Missouri 82 Alliance, the greater our impact will be. Every voice matters, and every effort adds up to real political change.
